Ingredients

1 gallon apple cider
8 sticks cinnamon
1 Tablespoon allspice
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 Tablespoon whole cloves

Directions:

Add apple cider, cinnamon sticks and allspice to a slow cooker or large pot.

Stud lemon and orange slices with whole cloves and add to liquid.

Simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

For an alcoholic version, add 1 gallon white wine and 2 cups rum and simmer for about 10 minutes before serving hot.
